Substance Abuse, homelessness, and now clients with Intellectual Disabilities. Cary is currently serving clients with Intellectual Disabilities in order to continue to give back to our community in this most empathetic way he can. Cary's main goal is to touch as many people who need help as I possibly can, while offering my services in any way that they need.

Lauren Mernick is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, mental health, and substance use treatment. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care with a special focus on serving veterans, military personnel, first responders, and individuals on their path to recovery and healing.

For more than 42 years, Lisa has devoted her life to caring for others through compassion, strength, and unwavering service. As a nurse specializing in hospice and behavioral health care, she has spent decades walking alongside individuals and families during their most difficult moments offering comfort, dignity, understanding, and hope.

Pamela S. Knowlton, RN, BA, ASN

Pam Knowlton, RN is a compassionate Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals with substance use and behavioral health challenges. As a key leader at McFaden’s Mission, she is dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and others affected by addiction find healing and renewed purpose. Pam combines extensive clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach rooted in empathy, respect, and hope.

Jess Morris
Director of Programming & Curriculum

Jess Morris, CHW, CRCP (she/her) is a licensed Community Health Worker and Certified Recovery Coach Professional with more than 12 years of experience in behavioral health. She specializes in supporting individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders through person-centered, trauma-informed care. Jess is an expert in overdose prevention and a passionate advocate for reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health. With 13 years in recovery herself, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to help others find hope and healing.
